EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Imagine yourself immersed in dance, surrounded by the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. You wake each morning with a ritual stretch on the green banks of the Guadalupe River. Your days are leisurely paced with morning and afternoon classes and plenty of time for hiking, swimming, shopping, practicing, and relaxing. Your nights are filled with music and dance, with henna, campfires, and with frienships old and new. This is Tribal Dance Camp!
The first of its kind in Texas, Tribal Dance Camp is held at Vista Camps - a girls' camp in the summer months. The accommodations are rustic, but not primitive. Lodging is provided in community cabins which have glass enclosed and screened windows and electricity. All cabins have adjacent bathroom/shower facilities with private stalls and hot water. Three hearty meals are provided by the catering staff in the indoor dining hall with offerings for regular and vegetarian diets. Classes are held in a spacious gymnasium, with a raised stage, and a professional sound system. Shows and evening events are held in the gymnasium and on the river banks.
The beauty of the Hill Country is breathtaking in APRIL. This is the perfect, serene environment in which to expand your creative horizons and revitalize your passion for dance!
Pricing includes all classes, shows, activities, meals and lodging (except Day/Night Pass and Day Only Pass, when offered). You will be prompted to select your menu preference and your t-shirt size as well as sign-up to perform. All campers are welcome and encouraged to perform in our evening shows on a space available basis. This retreat is for adult women only. Event is limited to 50 campers - don't delay!

Michelle Manx and Bahaia's HOT Seminars michellemanx@gmail.com
Bahaia's HOT Seminars are held in beautiful Central Texas. Over the past decade, Bahaia has consistently combined master level instruction with high quality personal service, providing students with the best Belly Dance events in Texas. Being an accomplished performer and a perpetual student, Bahaia is mindful of the needs and expectations of fellow Belly Dance enthusiasts. For over 10 years, dancers throughout Texas have been infused with inspiration and personally enriched by attending Bahaia's HOT Seminars.
A tradition continues...
The Austin Belly Dance Convention and Tribal Dance Camp were the vision and creation of Bahaia & HOT Seminars. With over 30 successful events since 1996, Bahaia has now "passed the torch" of these two outstanding events to Stacey Lizette and Michelle Manx, respectively, so that the tradition can continue. Bahaia will remain active in the belly dance community while focusing her energy on her own dancing, her students and a limited scope of events including Cabaret Dance Camp, aka "Camparet", held every October in the Texas Hill Country.
